Regional Facilities Manager

The Regional Facilities Manager is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our North, West Australia (NWA) office buildings, ensuring that they meet legal requirements and health and safety standards. Along with providing a workplace experience aligned to our Global Fast Forward to the Future standards

Minimum Requirements

+ Operating across different business functions, working on both a strategic and operational level. Providing, maintaining, and developing a number of different services such as:
+ Space management - working with Group Directors and Area Managers to understand their requirements for office space through review of resources forecasting and team collaboration.

+ Statutory Building maintenance - ensuring compliance to landlord maintenance schedule and statutory building regulations.

+ Testing and inspections - Fire drills and electrical testing aligned to our Safety requirements.

+ Contract management - suppliers/contractors work schedule for repairs and maintenance, cleaning etc.

+ Manage the team who are responsible for the Fleet and carparking requirements.

+ Manage the annual plan for Occupancy spend and ensure keeps on track and aligned to cost savings

+ Security
- ensure the offices are aligned to our Operational Safety Plan requirements. Be available for any security breaches.

+ Working with Real Estate to identify renovation and refurbishment needs in line with repairs and maintenance requirements within the lease.

+ Manage any make good requirements at expiry of a lease

+ Support and manage the relocation of any new office space.

+ Manage the team who will provide Procurement of stationary, kitchen facilities, WFH kits, Mobile phones etc.

+ Manage the Work from home customer care network within the region, Workplace concierge and Workplace coordinators.

+ Ensure the office comply with the SWOP Program as part of the ESG Strategy enabler.

+ Lead the Team of Workplace Specialists in the offices across NWA.(Brisbane, Perth, Maroochydore, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville, Cairns and Darwin)

Preferred Qualifications

+ Business Degree preferred

+ Five (5) years of experience as a Facilities Manager and/or Real Estate Operations

+ Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment and use influencing skills to drive initiatives

+ Excellent written and oral communications skills, ability to adeptly present ideas to stakeholders and senior leaders

+ Highly collaborative and a strategic thinker

+ Experience in Project Management

+ Strong Inclusive Leadership skills

+ Ability to supervise consultants and contractors to ensure they deliver to expectations

+ Stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence people in different roles without direct reporting lines
