The role
Leading and managing a small, high performing team, this role will continually improve corporate service delivery across Records, Facilities, Finance, Administration, IT and Governance and ensure operations are conducted efficiently and effectively in an environment of competing demands and conflicting objectives. This role will:
Contribute to best practice, contemporary resource management decisions within FSQ
Provide strategic and operational leadership and direction regarding governance, risk, policy and planning
Collaborate with leaders to identify and assess opportunities for system improvements and alternative delivery models that will realise short and long-term benefits
Provide expert strategic advice to senior managers on management strategies, systems, processes, policies and procedures
The successful person
**You will have**:
High level ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations addressing business management and service delivery issues in a diverse, multidisciplinary service-delivery organisation
Proven success identifying and analysing operational service delivery problems and implementing remedial strategies
Demonstrated corporate services management and leadership skills to enable the development and successful implementation of corporate and governance initiatives
Well-developed effective communication, interpersonal, consultation and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work as a collegiate, influential, credible advisor and effective part of a management team, as well as build collaborative, meaningful networks and relationships with stakeholders
Demonstrated experience providing leadership in system and process review and implementation of change
Proven ability to develop and manage an effective and efficient team with a positive culture and a strong focus on service delivery
