**The Role**:
As State Manager, you will support the Managers within the business to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of each site/client. You will coach, mentor and support them to achieve success in all areas of business operations. This will involve providing higher level support and compliance where needed - ensuring that they feel trusted and respected as key people in our business.

This role will see you report to our General Manager of Operations. It will encompass establishing strong relationships with the managers within your portfolio, along with other key stakeholders within the business. You will be well-supported by the Head Office, who will assist with managing other areas of the business and lighten your load in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Training.

**About You**:
As a State Manager, you will be able to demonstrate strong industry knowledge and forward planning. You will bring hospitality, retirement or aged care sector experience and a record of achievement. You will be a team player with steady employment tenure history and notable references from past employers. You will have a customer service mindset and eagerness to work with your team members to ensure continuous growth in all business areas. Ideally, you will have experience in contract catering and the Aged Care and Education sector.

**Key Requirements**:

- Completed degree in either Hospitality Management or Business or Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery
- 5 years experience in leadership-related roles or operational management
- Multi-site management experience
- Food and Beverage experience
- Thorough understanding of implementing business strategies for growth and the ability to lead change through a rapidly expanding environment
- Excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability to interact with all stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills and staff management experience - to lead a diverse group of operational areas
- Strong computer literacy including IPOS, Google
- Strong attention to detail in the delivery of reports and information
