**About us**:
CAPable Hearing Solutions is well known for supporting clients with Auditory Processing Disorder, as we are one of the only clinics in Australia to offer full assessments and therapy for this. Auditory Processing Disorder is not hearing loss, it is a disruption within the brain that causes people to hear things slightly differently and can cause a huge impact on their daily life and can often go undiagnosed. It is suspected that 5% of all children suffer with Auditory Processing Disorder. We offer tailored therapy and make significant improvements for our clients, ensuring they are more confident when they have left the clinic. We are a small clinic but making a huge impact.
**About the role**
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
**1. Front Desk Operations**
- Managing appointment schedules, including booking, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments.
- Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries about services, appointments, and general information.
- Collecting and verifying patient information, including insurance details and contact information.
**2. Administrative Tasks**
- Maintaining and organizing patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Processing payments, issuing receipts, and managing billing inquiries.
- Coordinating with Medicare for claims and reimbursements.
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies and forms.
**3. Patient Support**
- Assisting patients with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Providing information on hearing tests, hearing aids, APD assessments, APD interventions and follow-up appointments.
**4. Communication and Coordination**
- Acting as the primary point of contact between patients and audiologists.
- Relaying messages and updates between patients and the audiologist.
**5. Practice Support**
- Keeping the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Supporting the audiologist with administrative duties, such as preparing patient files or processing hearing aid orders.
**6. Technology Management**
- Operating practice management software for scheduling and patient records.
- Managing telehealth appointments.
- Assisting patients with digital hearing aid apps or troubleshooting basic technology issues.
**Who should apply?**
We are looking for a friendly, well organized and approachable individual, this would be perfect for someone who has never been in the admin industry before, as full training is provided.
**Requirements**:
Admin/ reception experience is not essential, we will provide full training on the job. However, experience is preferable.
