**This is an identified Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander position.**

The HR Officer is primarily responsible for delivering core HR administration services across the business, providing key coordination support to the Senior HR Business Partners.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Respond to general HR queries
- Participate in and support inclusion and diversity initiatives, including Hunter Water's Reconciliation Action Plan
- Coordinate recruitment and selection processes
- Prepare HR correspondence
- Process and maintain HR data in HRIS
- Coordinate organisational surveys
- Facilitate inductions for new starters
- Support the annual performance and learning review cycle
- Demonstrate the Hunter Water values of Inclusion, Trust, Leading, Learning and Wellbeing and actively participate in promoting our values based culture

**About you**:

- Relevant work experience and/or qualifications in Human Resources
- Discretion and the ability to maintain confidential information
- Demonstrated relationship building skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and work collaboratively across multi-disciplined teams
- Excellent attention to detail
