**About KNC Care** KNC Care is a not-for-profit aged care provider and community organisation. Our organisation is over forty years old. Our focus is to support people, their families and carers to navigate the health and social care systems, access the services they require, when they require them, to maximise opportunities and to live independently. KNC is engaged in providing core services which include:
- Direct assistance such as social support, transport, with opportunities for social group inclusion;
- Providing information on, and access to, a diverse range of in-home and community based services for people who have identified care and support needs;
- Encouragement and enables people to identify opportunities and achieve their personal goals;
- Demonstrating leadership in the development, planning and evaluation of services through continuous quality improvement, thought leadership, innovation and research; and
- Navigation through the complexity of the health and social systems.
**About the role**
KNC is looking for an HR coordinator to assist with:
- Conduct HR audits by identifying gaps in policy, procedure, and employment contracts
- General HR Administration support
- this includes management and preparation of employee contracts, and letters using our organisation’s processes and systems
- Work with the executive team to develop guidelines and processes for employees
- Support or lead recruitment processes, including developing adverts, pre-screening and shortlisting applicants, and conducting pre-employment checks
- Research and write topical HR articles to keep pace with legislation and best practice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare and process HR documents, such as employment contracts, onboarding paperwork, and exit checklists.
- Be the go-to person for any HR-related queries.
- Assist with onboarding process by preparing material, coordinating onboarding sessions, and ensuring a seamless transition for new hires.
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Support the implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Assist in managing employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Assist in preparing HR reports as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
- Coordinate training sessions and maintain records of employee development programs.
- Support the rollout of HR initiatives, such as performance management cycles or diversity programs.
**Skills and experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred though not essential).
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role.
- Working experience in administrative or customer service showcasing your communication and customer-centric skills
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
