**The role**:
Provide leadership and mentoring in:
- Monitoring access security across events across National Bank Group Mainframe platforms, investigating and reporting on potential security exposures and breaches, and implementing recommendations to resolve identified security vulnerabilities
- Monitoring ongoing compliance of MIS controls against Enterprise Controls and Group Information Risk Policy (GIRP).
- Provide security technology-based consulting services incorporating the development and design of security strategy and implementation of technological solutions required to deliver key business functions in a secure and efficient manner.
- Liaise with internal and external audit bodies in the undertaking and completion of audit based commitments.
**The role and Day to day will include**:
- Use considerable technical expertise and judgement to provide thought leadership for the implementation of technical solutions that support business needs
- Provide strategic input to design and quality assurance of technology solutions
- Provide technical input to design of major technology solutions and oversee their execution
- Provide effective and efficient infrastructure support to customers
- Contribute to the creation of technical strategies
- Execute tasks associated with the discipline; so as to maintain the integrity and quality of the operating environment
- Ensure processes are in place for the analysis and provision of training and or capability enhancement initiatives
- Continually evaluate working practices and procedures to help the implementation of cost effective methodologies for high quality technology developments
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong negotiation skills, including demonstrated ability to influence others in order to achieve desired objectives.
- Sound technical and general judgement.
- General personal characteristics required to operate effectively at this level i.e., strong analytical skills, resourcefulness, decisive, initiative, drive, able to generate confidence and enthusiasm
**What you'll bring**:
- People Management for 8+ Permanent FTE with additional oversight for Augmented resources (Contractor/consultants)
- Coordination of Evidence request for internal and external audits. Testing of internal IAM control controls via automated dashboards and Manual processes. Management of outstanding/ identified risk related IAM, Both within enterprise security and outside
- 10+ Years' experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Cyber Security (with responsibility for IAM)
- 5+ Years in a delivery focused role (e.g., operations manger, program manger, etc.)
- 5+ Years in some form of technology management position (Cyber Security, IAM, Risk, Technology Audit or Assurance - preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience in a Security Analyst / Auditor role (Mainframe)
- SPLUNK Search Processing Language (SPL)
- SAS (Statistical Analysis System) programming expertise
- SMF and associate mainframe utilities and facilities
- RACF Security Expertise - including security control design reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with organisational security requirements
- Audit, Risk, Controls Background / exposure
