About the Role
The Quality Coordinator will champion Quality Assurance on site as part of the quality team to lead and drive quality culture across the site. You will provide onsite support to Operations team, Supply chain and Production personnel as required as well as drive the continuous improvement process for Quality across the site.

**Specifically, you will be responsible for**:

- Support the Quality agenda across the site and the broader business
- Provide support to the site Operations team, supply chain and production team members as required
- Ensure Audits for Current External Certifications are completed in within the timeframe and Certification is maintained (HACCP, BRC, Woolworths Supplier Excellence and ALDI)
- Manage internal audit program to drive compliance with third party standards, major customer standards requirements (BRC, HACCP, WQA, Coles & Aldi) and relevant regulations
- Act as the site HACCP Team Leader, with overall responsibility for validation and verification of all food safety and quality systems within the Food Safety & Quality Management system
- Maintain and develop the legal compliance and food safety plans within site
- Complete complaint investigations and manage quality/food safety issues in production
- Schedule and conduct Good Manufacturing Practice and Quality Audits of the site to monitor compliance with regulations, GFSI standards and major customer standards and requirements.
- Lead NPD projects for site
- Conduct food safety and quality training as required
- Develop and implement site Quality Plans working with the Site Leadership Team and Corporate Quality
- Actively support & participate in site continuous improvement programs
- Ensure compliance with all legal, company and regulatory standards relating to quality and food safety
- Demonstrate commitment to Health and Safety through participation in formal and informal discussions with staff (WALKS and TALKS) plus by reporting hazards observed
- Lead site investigations into food safety and quality incidents
- Assist with Safety health and Environment administration for the site

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- 3-5 Years experience in food manufacturing within a similar role
- HACCP Trained and GFSI knowledge
- Degree qualified in Food Science and/or related discipline
- Risk Assessment and Auditing skills
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills
- Experience working with Quality Management System
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and role model best practice
- Be passionate about quality and take a customer focused attitude to their work.
