Our client based in Perth CBD is currently seeking a temporary Policy Officer.

**Your new company**

Our state government client requires a Policy Officer for a temporary period of 3 months with the opportunity to extend up to 12 months. This position is located within Perth CBD in a modern building close to nearby cafés and shops. This opportunity is to support policy review and development within the organisation’s climate team.

**Your new role**

As a Policy Officer, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with process mapping
- Working on processes to train staff in new policies and procedures
- Assisting with writing programs
- Providing strategic policy advice to stakeholders

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:

- Policy and strategy experience
- Experience writing programs
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
