**Your new role**

Exciting opportunity available for a data driven marketing analyst to join our marketing team, reporting into the Global VP Marketing & Customer Experience.

You will analyse qualitative data, trends, and competition, with a view to increasing profitability and improving customer experience.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Conducting research on consumer and market trends, target demographics, and competing brands
- Supporting the design of and implementation of market and consumer surveys
- Gathering and analyzing marketing data
- Preparing detailed reports on customers’ and competitors' activities
- Under direction monitoring local market changes with a focus on identifying evolving/changing business drivers
- Working with the commercial team and leadership to report on marketing strategies
- Reporting on the efficacy of marketing trends through analytical tools and software
- Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, market trends, and consumer behavior

**To be successful in this opportunity, you will have**:

- A curious and analytical approach, you enjoy finding patterns in data to identify opportunity
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- A collaborative approach, you enjoy contributing to the team - with ability to work autonomously in a geographically dispersed team
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing or similar
- Previous experience in a heavy industry or similar environment will be an added advantage
