**About the Company**

My client is an industry leading retail and solutions provider that has supported businesses and their operations with innovative products and technological solutions which are customized to fit the diverse needs of their clients.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the to the Commercial Manager, the Commercial Analyst is responsible for analysing product sales performance, category mix, commissions, rebates, promotions and COGS through financial modelling and commercial analysis.

The Commercial Analyst will provide insights through business partnering with various departments including sales, marketing, and operations. You will be responsible for P&L preparation with commentary whilst strategically partnering with operations leaders to increase efficiencies across the network. The core elements of the role will include
- P&L reporting, variance analysis. controlling and managing the General Ledger and monthly reconciliation of P&L accounts including commentaries.
- Utilise and develop Financial Models for costing, sales performance, and product mix in order to provide insights to the department heads.
- Ensure KPI reports are accurate, relevant and contribute to value-add analysis including preparing ad hoc business analysis.
- Strategic budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Developing models to estimate revenue and expenditure by Business Unit.
- Assist in the development of Dashboards and visualisations through BI tools.
- Support the preparation of Business Cases.
- Build strong relationships with Department Heads, Sales and Marketing teams and CFO

**About you**
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Experience in a similar large-scale environment
- Previous experience working within Retail or FMCG preferred but not required.
- Advanced excel is required, Tableau/Power BI beneficial.
- Prior experience in analysis/reporting/business partnering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be willing to work onsite 4 days/week.
