WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Program Director, the Program Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of the Combat Reconnaisance Vehicle (CRV) export variant. This variant is designed in Germany and manufactured in our MILVEHCOE facility in Redbank, Australia.

As **Program Manager, **you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

- Develop and update the Contract Master Schedule in accordance with the AUSDEFCON Complex contracting model for the Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle (CRV) export variant;
- Develop and work closely with the design authority team in Germany to ensure that part sourcing and manufacturing activities of the vehicles in Australia can be efficiently completed;
- Establish, maintain and manage Rheinmetall Entity and Sub-Contractor contracts to support the delivery;
- Establish, maintain and manage risks and issues that may impact the delivery of the vehicles as contracted;
- Review, monitor and report the project performance to ensure the project is being progressed in accordance with the Contract Master Schedule and the Statement of Work. This includes all planned work, contracted change and corrective actions (warranty, V&V Failures etc.);
- Oversight of Mandated System Reviews to ensure all deliverables are to the requisite standard and timing;
- Ensure program technical compliance, schedule and earned value in accordance with program, requirements under an Australian Defence Complex Acquisition methodology;
- Manage and coordinate the interface between the Entities and the Rheinmetall IPT;
- Act as key liaison between RDA, the Program Director/customer; and
- Lead development of scope changes, through to bid, negotiation and CCP implementation.

**About the Team**
- Join a newly established team to support this export contract. Based primarily at MILVEHCOE, Redbank, travel to Germany is required.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline;
- Proven experience in managing projects/programs and project resources including subcontractors as well as multiple service providers using PM methodologies, preferably within the Defence Industry;
- Strong stakeholder management experience ideally within a defence environment;
- Currently hold or eligible to hold a NV1 Security Clearance; and
- Ability to travel international and interstate, when required.
