- With a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, we are seeking a **System Support Specialist - Procurement Systems** on a **12-month fixed-term contract** to play a key role in enhancing and governing our procurement technology landscape.
**The Role**
As the**System Support Specialist, you will support the development, deployment, governance, and continuous improvement of procurement systems across the Procure to Pay (P2P) lifecycle. Your work will ensure seamless integration across Upstream and Downstream procurement processes, empowering our teams to operate more efficiently and effectively.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the build, testing, implementation, and governance of procurement system solutions across Strategic, Tactical, and Operational procurement processes.
- Manage and resolve complex technical and process escalations from users and our Level 1 support team.
- Provide system interrogation and advice to end users, enabling resolution of system issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Analyse workflows and develop process maps to identify improvement opportunities.
- Work with software and architecture teams to recommend sustainable solutions and raise change requests when required.
- Promote procurement process understanding and compliance across the business.
- Support the delivery of key procurement improvement projects as part of the Group's continuous improvement strategy.
- Maintain open and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
**What You’ll Bring**
- Strong technical knowledge of SAP systems, particularly Ariba, SAP ECC, and Concur.
- Proven experience managing stakeholders and driving change across large, diverse organisations.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise and resolve issues effectively.
- Experience in collaborative and consultative professional environments.
- A passion for continuous improvement, systems governance, and stakeholder engagement.
**Work Environment & Travel**
- Hybrid working model with flexibility in location (Melbourne, Sydney, or Adelaide).
- Some travel may be required across Australia and New Zealand, with occasional overseas travel.
