Project Specialist, Operational Systems
The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community.
The T2D Project is the final 10.5-kilometre link in South Australia's North-South Corridor, delivering a seamless 78-kilometre motorway from Gawler to Old Noarlunga. Designed to eliminate congestion and improve travel times, this transformative infrastructure allows drivers to bypass 21 sets of traffic lights via two state-of-the-art tunnels connected by open motorway.
The Project Specialist, Operational Systems will lead the strategic integration of the project into the broader Adelaide network including the delivery of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), operations and maintenance planning and traffic management strategies.
A key part of your role will be ensuring that operational and maintenance (O&M) requirements are embedded into the project design, with a strong focus on whole-of-life considerations and will lead the development and implementation of an integration strategy to ensure all project elements come together seamlessly.
We are seeking leaders with a passion for helping shape and unlock South Australia's potential and economic growth, who can work with a dynamic and committed leadership team to deliver outcomes for the State. Your extensive engineering experience in tunnel systems, ITS and delivery of operations and maintenance will be pivotal in delivering outcomes for the Project.
If you are a passionate and dynamic leader with a high level of interpersonal skills, an ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, high integrity and demonstrated resilience in a changing environment, we want to hear from you.
