Lucent Advisory is growing – and we're on the lookout for a Payroll Specialist with a passion for systems, efficiency, and delivering outcomes that matter. If you're experienced in payroll but ready to move beyond day-to-day processing and into the technology side of the function, this is a fantastic opportunity to pivot into system implementations. You'll work on complex client projects, implementing cutting-edge payroll tech in a delivery environment that values flexibility, accountability, and real-world results.

What You'll Do
- Reporting to the Technical Manager - Implementations, you'll take ownership of end-to-end system configuration for new payroll implementations. That includes:
- Running discovery sessions with clients to gather payroll requirements
- Configuring platforms to award and business rules
- Performing data imports, testing, and validation
- Supporting clients through pay run testing to go-live
- Collaborating with project managers to keep delivery on track
What You Bring
- 3+ years in payroll implementation, payroll processing, or a similar technical role
- A sound understanding of Modern Awards and payroll compliance
- Great attention to detail and confidence working with data
- Excellent communication skills — you know how to engage clients and manage expectations
- A proactive mindset: you love solving problems and getting things right the first time
