**Automotive Tradesperson Assistant Program**

**About us**
The Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce (VACC) is an automotive industry employer association founded in 1918 that protects and promotes the interests of its members through advocacy initiatives and the provision of automotive industry products and services.

The Tradesperson Assistant Program will be run through the VACC Automotive Apprenticeship department who currently employ over 500 automotive apprentices in its group apprenticeship scheme, facilitating placement with employers in the industry.

**About the Roles**
The Tradesperson assistant program is designed for non-permanent residents or visa holders (including temporary and bridging visa holders) with limited automotive experience to work in the following areas:

- Logbook servicing on a range of makes and models
- General repairs
- Pre delivery inspections
- Tyre repairs
- Wheel alignments
- Warehousing
