**The Opportunity**:
Are you ready to take your leadership skills to the next level? Compare the Market is seeking a dynamic Sales Team Leader - General Insurance to drive sales in our outbound call centre, to manage a high-performing team, and deliver great customer service to our customers.
- Drive individual and team sales performance to meet and exceed targets.
- Monitor and manage real-time performance metrics, including sales, conversion, and productivity.
- Support consultants in handling objections and closing sales effectively.
- Ensure adherence to call scripting and compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions focused on skill development and performance improvement.
- Provide real-time feedback to improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
- Identify training needs and collaborate with the Sales / Learning Development Manager to address skill gaps.
- Create individual development plans for team members to support career progression.
- Run daily team huddles to align on targets, share insights, and build motivation.
- Foster a supportive and high-energy sales culture.
- Manage daily workflow and ensure optimal utilisation of dialer technology.
- Oversee adherence to schedules and ensure efficient handling of leads.
- Provide structured end-of-day performance reports.
- Ensure consultants consistently deliver great customer experiences.
- Handle escalations professionally, resolving customer concerns in line with company policies.

**About you**:
- Must have previous experience in a contact centre sales environment, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets, ideally within general insurance.
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills, with a track record of developing high-performing sales teams.
- Ability to manage and drive sales performance in real-time, utilising data-driven decisions to meet and exceed targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage sales teams effectively.
- Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements within the insurance industry, with a focus on maintaining sales standards.
- Must have previous experience as a Team Leader in an outbound sales environment, driving results and achieving sales goals (desirable).
- Familiarity with Genesys Cloud or similar dialer technology, with experience optimizing these tools for sales performance (desirable).
