What the role is all about

In this role you will support 3 x senior leaders in the Financial Services team:

- General Manager, Product
- General Manager, Software Engineering
- Executive Manager, Communications, Events & Franchise Marketing

While your portfolio include those 3 x senior leaders, you are joining the wider Financial Services team and therefore you will have presence across the entire business unit to assist with team-wide events and administration tasks. The Assistants team in Financial Services is made up of 3 x team members and you’ll be working closely and collaborating in this small team to support one another to ensure the Financial Services team receives consistent and accurate administrative support.

In addition, you will:
- Join a team of Executive & Team Assistants, aiming to provide consistent, proactive and accurate support to our senior leaders- Own your leader’s diaries by way of managing their schedules and helping them prioritise tasks and meetings- Manage travel bookings for your leaders- Assist teams with planning and organising offsites, events, showcases and celebrations- Process invoices and manage expenses in line with company policies and guidelines- Proactively look for opportunities to develop and improve systems and procedures to maximise team efficiencies- Be the support for the team culturally, ensuring your leaders’ reputation is upheld and that you are present across the wider teams as a positive cultural contributor- Always maintain professionalism and confidentiality.

Who we’re looking for- To enable success in this role, ideally you will have the following:
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic and often changing environment- A few runs on the board as a team assistant or EA, supporting a large team- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint- Experience organising team meetings, events, and engagement activities for teams- Proactivity, with the ability to effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities; High attention to detail with strong written and oral communication skills, with different stakeholders of different seniority- Experience with expense management (eg: Concur)
