**About you**

You have an Engineering background with an emphasis on water or similar systems. You are confident with excel and have experience using data to support improvement initiatives through monitoring and reporting and root cause analysis.

You have experience in planning and progressing work activities, using initiative and judgement to deliver outcomes.

You use your organisational skills and attention to detail to pick up new systems quickly and will be comfortable sharing your knowledge of assessment process to other business units.

**About the role**

In this role you will contribute to maintaining and improving energy efficiency which brings Water Corporation closer to our goal of being Greenhouse Gas neutral in line with our carbon and energy policies.

As part of a team of three you will lead energy efficiency assessments to monitor energy efficiency throughout the Corporation. You will use your assessments to investigate opportunities to improve efficiency and support the implementation of those initiatives. You will report on the energy efficiency of existing assets and the pipeline and progress of Energy Efficiency Opportunities.

**Key skills and experience**:

- Knowledge in conducting Energy Efficiency assessments on infrastructure asset systems
- Knowledge of effective engineering problem solving and issue resolution techniques
- Experience with water industry assets & systems
