Treasury Analyst

The Opportunity

Paladin Energy is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our Finance team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Perth CBD office, reporting to the Head of Treasury and Analysis. The role is instrumental in managing the Company's liquidity, financial risk, and treasury operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily cash and liquidity management, investment and foreign exchange dealing, and the enhancement of corporate financial models to support strategic decision-making. To be successful in the role, the following are essential:

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills – essential for cash flow and corporate modelling analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• A solid understanding of financial instruments, foreign exchange and interest rate markets, and exposure to corporate cash management.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively with global teams.

• A collaborative approach with a strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Hold valid Australian work rights.
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, a current National Police Clearance.

Highly regarded qualifications and experience include:

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• CA or CPA certification.
• 5+ years' experience in a corporate treasury, financial analysis, or banking environment.
• Previous experience in the mining or resources sector.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and accountabilities of this position include:

• Manage daily cash positions and ensure optimal liquidity across corporate accounts in accordance with Treasury Policy.
• Prepare and analyse short and long-term cash flow forecasts to inform strategic decision-making.
• Execute and record foreign exchange and investment transactions, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Monitor foreign exchange exposures and interest rate risks, supporting the development of hedging and investment strategies.
• Maintain and enhance corporate financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis, and funding purposes.
• Prepare treasury reports and assist with debt, audit, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through treasury process optimisation and system enhancements.
