**About the role**:
The primary purpose of the Works Ready Coordinator role is to ensure the effective preparation and planning of work packages to deliver the program of works. Ensure effective processes, systems and disciplines are in place to assist with the efficient delivery of the works program
- Prepare all work to the stage that it is fully reviewed and all preparation and planning has been completed prior to handing over the Delivery Manager for execution
- Lead the team to ensure organisational goals are achieved by providing a high level of advice and support
- Identify risks and prepare mitigation strategies for all risks
- Manage customer expectations and the needs of the business
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of data capture is maintained; this includes but is not limited to ad hoc system checks and end of month reconciliation.
- Preparation of data and analysis for reporting on works planning & delivery as required

**About you**:

- Certificate III Power Systems _(highly desirable)_, Project Management or other relevant qualification
- Current Victorian Driver’s licence
- Working knowledge of construction and/ maintenance, planning/scheduling work and operational techniques and standards as applied to electrical networks
- Good understanding of Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks and VESI requirements
- Experience in the preparation and lodgement of switching sheets
- Understanding of HSEQ issues as they relate to maintenance planning
- SAP, Word, Excel and planning package systems experience will be highly regarded.
- Successfully operate in an environment where there are tight timeframes and conflicting priorities and options
- Strong organisational planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
