We are a gemstone wholesaler looking for a full-time sales person to join our team in a busy office located in Melbourne's CBD.

Starting date Feb 2025.

This description outlines the role, but may include things not in this list
- Day to Day Tasks
- Attend to inquiries and orders in a timely manner.
- Pick and process orders to customers' requirements.
- Pack and send orders via Australia Post and other postal/courier services.
- Counter service for walk in customers.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy office space.
- Follow up approvals, orders and sales inquiries.
- Handling of gemstones with appropriate care and attention.
- Weigh and count stock as it comes in and out of office from sales/approvals.
- Contribute to shared general office duties.

- Mature, professional attitude and demeanor.
- Knowledge and experience of coloured gemstones the jewellery industry.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Pro-active, driven, enthusiastic and reliable.
- Effective time management skills and an ability to prioritize tasks while working without supervision.
- Proficiency in the use of CRM programs as well as Microsoft Office suite.

Education and Training requirements.
- Diploma of Gemmology, or experience in the Jewellery Trade is essential.
