Edinburgh, Australia Australian Government Department of Defence Full time

$85,607 - $97,790 (plus Super)
- Edinburgh - SA

**The Role**
As the Cyber Security Advice and Assessment Analyst, you will work with an innovative team to ensure that ICT systems employed by the Air Warfare Centre are assessed and deemed suitable to operate in their intended environment to meet mission objectives.

As a key cyberworthiness professional in the Air Warfare Centre, you will be responsible for developing and managing the cyberworthiness assurance framework - a key element in ensuring that ICT systems are fully assessed for cyber risks and achieve required approval to operate.

You will work with ICT system owners and specialists across all Air Warfare Centre business units to ensure the ongoing cyberworthiness of systems, and contribute to the development of corporate knowledge across the organisation. Opportunities exist to network with other Cyber professionals in Air Force and Defence, with exciting training and development opportunities available.

**About our Team**
In the Air Warfare Centre, you will be part of a large and diverse organisation that provides a range of specialised products and support to all areas of Air Force. In your role, you will work within a professional team responsible for assurance of these outputs, but also be required to engage widely with staff across all Air Warfare Centre business units and across Air Force.

You will enjoy Australian Public Service conditions, which include an attractive salary package and flexible, family-friendly working arrangements. Our staff have access to flexible working hours with opportunities for home-based work. Defence provides a superannuation contribution of 15.4 per cent, higher than most industries, with the opportunity for you to make additional personal contributions. Attractive salary packaging arrangements are also available.

We are looking for a team player with a keen eye for detail. You will have an Engineering background, ideally with an ICT or systems focus, and have the ability to understand and interpret complex technical reports and policy requirements.

You will be able to communicate effectively with others, including with staff who may lack broad knowledge in cyberworthiness. You will also be able to collaborate with civilian and military staff to discuss and improve existing systems and, most importantly, be willing to learn.
