**Position Information**:
Riverstone Public School is located in Western Sydney and is part of South Creek network. The school is located on Dharug land. Our school has a student enrolment of 650. This includes a support unit and 2 unit preschool. Students come from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds with 15% of students identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples and 54% from an English as an Additional Language or Dialect background. Riverstone Public School has a combination of experienced and early career teachers. The school values it's learning community and is focused on maintaining and building strong relationships with staff, parents and students. Evidence based teaching, commitment to cater for high potential and gifted students and the embedded STEAM program has made the school highly regarded within the local community.

1. High level educational leadership with the skills to lead and manage a complex public school focused on the delivery of high quality education
2. Ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs
3. High level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage all levels of the school and educational community
4. Ability to lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning
5. Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning
6. Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education policy and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
