The Partnerships Manager is responsible for creating long term value for Guide Dogs SA/NT through understanding markets, developing valuable networks, deploying effective donor acquisition strategies and building strong internal and external relationships to ensure sustainability and increased engagement amongst partners and supporters.

Reporting to the GM Fundraising, Marketing & Communications and working closely with the Fundraising and Marketing and Business Development teams, the Partnerships Manager leads a small dedicated team of specialists across the portfolio. While maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners, donors, professional membership organisations and other external stakeholders, key areas of responsibility will include:

- developing and implementing operational plans and budgets for all relevant streams aligning to organisational strategies;
- leading relationship building and management across corporate, community, government and non-government funding bodies;
- representing GDSA/NT at the national level for relevant programs including contributing to national project teams;
- leading, supporting and developing team members to achieve their potential including setting measurable and achievable key performance indicators.

High level interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach, the ability to readily establish credibility, strong self-motivation and the ability to prioritise and manage in a multi-faceted role will be key to success.
