About Beau's Pet Hotel

Beau's is a state-of-the-art Pet Hotel that offers a safe and loving holiday and Daycare experience for fur babies We offer both standard and luxury accommodation for cats and dogs, doggy Daycare, Grooming services as well as Beau's Training School. Beau's is conveniently located in the Adelaide Airport precinct, right next to Harbour town.

All profits from Beau's Pet Hotel are returned to Guide Dogs SA/NT to enable independence, participation, inclusion and wellbeing for people living with vision loss, and other specialised needs through the provision of Guide Dogs, Assistance Dogs and specialist services.

About the Role

We are currently seeking energetic and skilled Dog Daycare Animal Attendants to provide exceptional care to our guests at Beau's Pet Hotel in our daycare facilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care to all our pet guests
  • Day to day animal husbandry – cleaning, feeding and exercising
  • Provide mental and physical enrichment activities and specialised care
  • Work as an integral member of the Beau's Team to achieve positive outcomes for our guests

Opportunities to work within our dog and cat pet boarding areas may be available for interested and suitability qualified candidates.

Rosters are set fortnightly to enable staff to plan ahead.

About you

It is important to us that our Daycare Animal Attendants have thorough knowledge and understanding of dog behavior and temperament, with animal handling skills.

Demonstrated experience working with animals in a dog daycare facility or similar is essential, and we strongly prefer candidates with a relevant tertiary qualification in an animal-related field.

Maintaining a Police Clearance (costs covered) and current Driver's License is a condition of employment along with undertaking a pre-employment medical.
