Hays Technology are partnered exclusively with a leading coeducational school located in the heart of the **Sunshine Coast** region to appoint a** Database Coordinator** in a permanent capacity. This newly created role will support the IT department in enhancing their Data Management focusing primarily on the **TASS System**.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be supporting the development of new data collection and analysis processes within the school and liaise with other key stakeholders to ensure the data entry protocols are consistent across all areas to ensure a single point of truth.

Your day-to-day will look like:

- Ensure the effective use of good project management practices in managing project implementations within the school.
- ** Automation of database-related tasks** including the creation of custom views for regular queries
- Provide advice to the school in relation to developing a clear path in the adoption of business intelligence and data warehousing for the education sector.
- Provide support and training to employees in effective database use and management, including data integrity.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Advanced knowledge of, and experience with relational databases, in a medium-size enterprise; **preferably in an educational environment.**:

- Experience in using a **school’s database system such as TASS **or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Sound experience in database administration and data extraction.
- Ability to retain record keeping procedures, including an understanding of IS40 requirements.
- Strong systems knowledge and skills.

**To be considered for this role, you MUST have the ability to hold and maintain a current Working with Children Blue Card**
