Unique opportunity on the Gold Coast - Events Coordinator

**Your new company**

Join a well-known University on the Gold Coast as an Events Coordinator on a short contract - with possible extension.

**Your new role**
- Organise all aspects of Advancement events as undertaken within the Advancement team, including administration, logistic and database support to the delivery and follow up to the diverse suite of domestic and international alumni and donor relations events.
- Provide advice and support to other events relevant to the Advancement Office portfolio in consultation with the Deputy Director Advancement.
- Develop and implement administrative systems and procedures that effectively support the events.
- Coordinate events through the Advancement database, including organising the guest list, responding to events enquiries, and developing relevant materials and records for events, to ensure the smooth and effective operation of alumni and donor relations events.
- Be the main contact point for all event related enquiries within Advancement.
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with relevant key stakeholders in the Marketing and Communications team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and University policies and procedures, including equity and health & safety and exhibit good practice in relation to same.
- Demonstrate the principles and values embodied in the University’s Code of Conduct, and behave, act and communicate at all times to reflect fairness, ethics and professionalism.

- Corporative Events experience
- Great communication and organisations skills
- Availability to start asap
