We work to drive climate action, invest in technologies that lower emissions, help Australia adapt to a changing climate, provide data and analysis on Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions, and deliver on Australia’s climate change priorities through bilateral partnerships and multilateral fora. We work with stakeholders across industry, government and the community to deliver connected, evidence based policies and programs, administer legislation, and provide advice to the Australian Government.

The Emissions Reduction Division develops and implements Australia’s domestic climate mitigation policies and programs, including medium
