**The Opportunity**

Our technical spatial capability captures the real world to produce 3D data and models for various planning, engineering, and architectural requirements. In time our digital capability will use analytics to convert the 3D data into knowledge and insights. Core to the Digital and Spatial (D&S) team are our acquisition services in terrestrial scanning, mobile laser scanning, UAV LiDAR, and UAV imagery.

Our D&S team focus on 3D modelling, BIM, GIS, 3D visualisations, analytics and geospatial advisory.
- Ensure survey and spatial projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Ensure client relationships are nurtured with a focus on excellent project delivery
- Establish and manage the mentoring, training and development of direct reports, ensuring they have the skills required to deliver on project requirements
- Support national D&S collaboration including sharing of people and resources for operations nationally
- Actively promote the strategies of Veris Australia
- Ensure you have a clear understanding of the vision and mission goals for Veris Australia
- Commit to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Drive initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence
- Ensure tasks and responsibilities assigned to direct reports are completed correctly and within the required time-frames
- Liaise with clients, as required, to ensure their operational and technical expectations are met
- Keep abreast of competitor, industry and technology trends

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in a Surveying/Geomatics and/or Geospatial discipline or related discipline
- Experience in survey field data capture techniques including scanning and control network establishment is essential
- Lidar and/or photogrammetry experience is desirable
- Excellent written and spoken communication with good interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver survey and spatial projects on time and on budget; meeting and exceeding client needs and requirements
- Ability to identify and promote technical survey and spatial solutions that result into a higher quality product provided to the client
- Experience managing, mentoring and growing survey and spatial teams
- In-depth understanding of point cloud capture technologies and solutions, coupled with an aptitude and willingness to invest in the growth of team members
- Project management qualification (desirable)
- Team and people management experience
- Project coordination and scheduling experience
