**About the Business**

Our Screening Unit conducts initial screening and ongoing monitoring of checks for specific workers and volunteers in South Australia. The Child Safe Environments team in the unit helps organisations support their staff to recognise, report and respond to children or young people who may be at risk of harm, contributing to the protection of vulnerable people in the community.

**Role Details**

This role will support the implementation of the national aged care worker screening in SA by providing coordination support for screening reform projects.
- Support the implementation of the national aged care worker screening by contributing to draft documents including ministerials, briefings, policies and procedures.
- Provide executive and coordination support to the Policy Team for screening reform projects, particularly with regard to the national aged care worker screening.
- Provide advice to support decision making within tight timeframes, ensuring input and advice is current, accurate, objective and based on sound evidence.

Tertiary qualification in politics, law or other related disciplines is desirable.

**Salary Range**: $76,561-$80,256 (ASO4)
