Reporting to General Manager - Operations, the** **Franchising Manager** **is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the franchise department, including recruiting franchisees and enabling their sustainable growth, providing support to existing franchisees, and ensuring that the franchise system is meeting its financial and operational goals.

The purpose is to drive a best-in-class franchise network that is highly engaged and compliant with Schnitz standards.

As the Franchise Manager, you will be accountable for recruiting business-minded and high-calibre franchise partners. We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated and entrepreneurial with a passion for business development, sales, and franchising.

**Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:
**The Role Recipe**:

- Oversee and drive pipeline of franchise partners through industry recruitment, market research, referrals, and networking.
- Identify and recruit new franchisees by qualifying them, and negotiating and closing franchise agreements.
- Provide ongoing support to new franchise partners, working with other departments to onboard them and help them achieve success.
- Identify and work with other departments to resolve issues that impact franchise partner profitability.
- Track franchise partner performance and identify areas for improvement. Work with Business Development Managers and Franchise Partners to implement changes.
- Conduct regular compliance audits of franchise partner operations to ensure compliance with the Franchise Agreement.
- Manage breach process/procedures if repeated non-compliance issues persist.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the franchise expansion strategy by identifying new markets and locations and developing franchise packages.
- Work closely with the Property Development team to assess potential sites and negotiate lease agreements.

**Key ingredients**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in franchising, with a proven track record of success in developing and growing franchise programs. Previous franchising experience within the hospitality industry will be highly regarded.
