With the resurgence of the jacket potato in overseas markets, we have very ambitious growth targets over the next 3 years, as we look to leverage our category ownership in the Australian market to reshape the fast food landscape, nationwide.
- **With this, we are after an ambitious, big-thinking operational weapon to join our team to proactively lead the recruitment and onboarding of new franchisees, while at the same time guiding, training and coaching our existing franchise partners in the effective management of their store operations.**_

- 5+ years of working in hospitality
- 2+ years of managing multiple sites at once
- A proven track record in lifting standards to drive an optimised guest experience
- A proven track record in driving revenue growth
- A proven track record in effectively onboarding and training restaurant leaders
- A proven track record in effectively managing underperforming restaurant leaders
- A thorough understanding of The Franchising Code of Conduct
- A thorough understanding of The Food Safety Act
- A thorough understanding of The Occupational Health & Safety Act
- A thorough understanding of commercial leasing
- Note that experience in a franchised business is desirable, but not essential.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Franchisee Management:_
- Assisting with new franchisee recruitment
- Managing new franchisee onboarding & training
- Managing the performance of existing franchisees
- Assisting with the sale of existing franchises
- Proactive Leadership_
- Coaching franchisees to build and promote a culture of high performance
- Ensuring the communications of all key messages reach SpudBAR employees on the front line
- Providing franchisees with ongoing feedback, training and development
- Operations, Compliance & Guest Experience_
- Ensuring adherence to SpudBAR’s policies and procedures across all stores, identifying any issues and developing action plans to drive the highest of standards in all key operational areas (Food Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, cleanliness and store presentation, product execution, guest experience (steps of service), council/legal compliance)
- Managing bi-monthly store audits
- Core KPI Management_
- Coaching franchisees to ensure they understand both the why and the how in relation to effectively managing a SpudBAR store’s operations (projecting and driving sales, delivering the optimal SpudBAR guest experience, COGS management, rostering and labour management, inventory management)
- Ensuring that all targets and KPIs are communicated, measured and reported in a timely manner
- Learning & Development_
- Managing the creation and updating of detailed process guidelines
- Managing the creation and updating of detailed operational templates
- Managing the creation and updating of learning and development content
- Facilitating face-to-face and/or online training sessions as and when required
- Operational Supplier Management_
- Assisting with the management of key operational supplier relationships, including day-to-day liaisons (including, but not limited to point of sale, F&B suppliers, equipment suppliers, maintenance suppliers, tech/IT suppliers)
- Community Management_
- Managing the driving of engagement on internal Whatsapp and internal Instagram
- Contributing to monthly store performance reports
- Contributing to the monthly group newsletter
- Contributing to the quarterly franchisee meeting
- Assisting with the collection of cultural data through franchisee surveys
- Other_
- Assisting with the delivery of key tactical plan items
- Managing company-owned stores (alongside the Franchise Manager)
- Assisting with ad-hoc requests from franchisees and support office colleagues
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Supplementary Pay:
- Performance bonus
