Operating in the wholesale and supply chain industry, this ASX listed company is the leading provider of specialist products, services and solutions in its market segment. The company has undergone significant growth through acquisition and now has over 5,000 employees. As a result of this growth several Business Partner roles have been created to support specific business units. Reporting to the General Manager of People and Culture, you will have ownership of your own client group. You will be part of a high performing team who are committed to quality outcomes and delivering quality people and culture services.

This role offers a good mix of strategic and operational responsibilities and will include:

- Provide strategic and tactical P&C advice and guidance to business unit people leaders in the overall approach to people management, workforce development, and employee engagement.
- Provide strategic advice, strategy development and execution to business function and people leaders, ensuring day-to-day operational HR activities are directed to the transactional services domain.
- Partner with business unit people leaders to develop workforce planning strategies that align to the business function priorities and overall company strategy
- Leverage strategic frameworks, tools, and processes to drive high performance.
- Enable people managers to play an active role in activating people initiatives and programs along the entire employee life cycle to support workforce development and engagement.

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced business partner who has worked in a large complex business and possess strong knowledge in employee relations. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be flexible and adaptable. Building relationships with stakeholders is critical and you will enjoy partnering with senior leaders and operational staff. You will be an effective communicator and be able to influence to achieve desired outcomes.
