We help companies save money and utilize wasted airspace, making it easier and more affordable to store items. We have been a trusted distributor of Schaefer racking for over 20 years. We are committed to providing our customers with quality products and services that make storing items easier and more affordable. We currently have a position for a **Technical Sales Manager **available.

**Job Summary**:
As a Technical Sales Manager at Allrack Storage Solutions PTY Ltd, you'd likely be responsible for driving sales of the company's products and services by combining technical expertise with effective sales strategies. Your role may involve understanding client needs, providing product demonstrations, and offering tailored solutions to meet customer requirements. Additionally, you might be involved in building and maintaining client relationships, collaborating with the technical team, and staying updated on industry trends to inform sales approaches.

**Responsibilities**:
**Sales Strategy Development**:

-      Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
-      Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.

**Team Leadership**:

-      Lead and manage a team of technical sales professionals.
-      Provide coaching and support to ensure the team meets or exceeds targets.

**Product Knowledge**:

-      Stay informed about technical specifications and features of products or services.
-      Collaborate with technical teams to understand and articulate product capabilities.

**Customer Relationship Management**:

-      Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers.
-      Understand customer needs and provide solutions aligned with company offerings.

**Sales Presentations**:

-      Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for clients.
-      Tailor presentations to address specific customer requirements.

**Proposal Development**:

-      Collaborate with sales and technical teams to create compelling proposals.
-      Ensure proposals align with customer needs and technical feasibility.

**Market Research**:

-      Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
-      Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.

**Quota Management**:

-      Set and monitor sales targets and quotas for the team.
-      Evaluate individual and team performance against set targets.

**Collaboration with Technical Teams**:

-      Work closely with technical and product development teams.
-      Ensure effective communication between sales and technical departments.

**Contract Negotiation**:

-      Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements.
-      Finalize contracts in collaboration with legal and finance teams.

**Training and Development**:

-      Provide ongoing training to the sales team on product knowledge and sales techniques.
-      Foster a continuous learning environment.

**Budget Management**:

-      Develop and manage the sales budget effectively.

**Reporting and Analysis**:

-      Generate and analyze sales reports to track performance.
-      Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

**Qualifications**:
Suitable certification or relevant experience.

**Experience**:

- At least 2 years of experience in a similar environment
- Proven experience in marketing roles, preferably within the B2B industry.
- Prior experience in a sales role, especially in a technical or industrial setting, is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Racking and shelving systems, logistics and warehouse management.

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of industry standards both local and international and emerging trends is crucial.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and building client relationships is essential.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary to convey technical information to clients in a clear and understandable manner. This includes effective presentation skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly. Customer-centric approach to sales is vital in this role.
- Strong negotiation skills to close deals and ensure mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
- Collaboration with the technical and support teams is essential. The ability to work seamlessly across departments is crucial for successful project execution.
