**The Opportunity**:
Join our team of intelligent and collaborative Changemakers and make your mark on tomorrow In this role, you’ll work with the Waste and Circular Economy Team. This is a National team made up of leadership and project delivery staff. They are a passionate and cohesive team made up of the leadership group (primarily responsible for business development, project management and team management) and the project delivery group (primarily responsible for project delivery, assisting junior staff and some business development). This role sits within the Project Delivery group.

**In this role you will**:

- Advise clients on trends within the waste and circular economy sector
- Advice clients on embedding circular economy principles into projects
- Preparation of circular economy reports, strategies, policies and guidelines
- Perform and guide research regarding emerging circular economy principles and materials
- Attendance at project meetings as Circular Economy Advisor
- Analysis and interpretation of waste generation data from client supplied case study data.
- Assume responsibility for the results of medium projects or sections of large projects.
- Allocate tasks/projects and assist junior team members
- Staff feedback, training /teaching and knowledge sharing on a regular basis
- Prepare bids and tenders including developing a scope of work and pricing for proposals
- Attend industry functions including company representation at seminars, conferences, networking events or forums

**Ideally you will have**:

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science/Science, Architecture, or equivalent discipline (e.g. industrial design) - Minimum requirement.
- Strong experience in Circular Economy, Sustainability and/or Construction Materials, including experience in Waste Management and Resource Recovery
- Must have previous experience in consulting
- Strong experience with policy and strategy projects (guidelines, document responses, advisory documents)
- Ideally have worked in more than one of these industries: infrastructure/built environment, government, or sustainability sector
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Ability to work within a team
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent report writing, analytical skills (including Microsoft Word and Excel expertise) and attention to detail.

**Location**
- This position is based in our Melbourne office, flexible work arrangements will be negotiated based on experience but ideally this is a face to face role where you are primarily needed to work in the office with your team.
