Circular Plastics Australia, a part of the PACT Group, is creating a truly circular economy by giving billions of used plastic bottles and containers a new life. Our facilities will enable plastic waste to be recycled locally and made into new bottles and packaging, rather than ending up in landfill.

**About this opportunity**
As a member of the Site Leadership team, the Production Manager reports directly to the Site Manager. The Production Manager will have full accountability for the operations division of this site across three shifts, including 24/5 and 24/7 operations. The Production Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies for the operations on site in order to achieve agreed business goals.
**Your key responsibilities will be to**:
- Lead by example, across all areas of accountability including WHSE, Quality, and Leadership, promoting a Zero Harm Culture at all times
- Work with peers to develop and ensure adherence to Site SOPs
- Provide an unrelenting focus on Quality, actively engaging in training and holding team to account for Quality in the day-to-day operation
- Identify process capability and product “fit for manufacture” issues which impact quality performance and work with engineering, maintenance, and the technical departments to resolve them
- Build a continuous improvement culture from the outset, across all areas of responsibility including WHSE and Quality
- Manage the ER / IR programs across the business and ensure effective industrial climate to deliver the business outcomes
- Work closely with the Maintenance team to ensure production efficiency (OEE) meets the customer and business requirements, embedding a continuous improvement culture
- Manage daily and weekly production schedule for achieving optimum production efficiencies and DIFOT
**Your skills and experience**
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Min. 5 years people leadership experience
- Experience in Plastics manufacturing and/or recycling highly desired
- Superior communication skills. A personable leader, with the ability to communicate and connect across all levels at Site
- Experienced in driving continuous improvement culture
- Demonstrated experience in working within highly automated facilities, using the latest technology
- Proven people leadership and change management experience with a collaborative and enabling approach
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelors in Manufacturing, Engineering, Science or Business advantageous
