We have an exciting opportunity for a Development Manager (DM) to join our residential apartments team within the Development Business located at Barangaroo, Sydney.

As a DM you will with the Senior Development Manager (SDM) and the Development team on the landmark luxury residential development, **One Circular Quay **. The development is expected to comprise a 59-level luxury residential tower, designed by the late award-winning Australian architect Kerry Hill, with unrivalled views of Sydney Harbour.

Reporting to the SDM, you will work as part of an integrated Lendlease team, alongside the Development Project Management, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Cost Planning and Building teams. You will be provided the opportunity take ownership of certain aspects of the project, working collaboratively with the various teams within the business and with an uncompromising approach to quality. You will require advanced stakeholder management skills that influence customer focused and financial outcomes. You will require excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

**The role will involve, but not limited to, the following tasks**:

- Sales and marketing - conducting market research on target market drivers, demographics and competitor analysis to support and inform management decision making, input into the delivery of sales and marketing collateral, sales suite design and delivery and preparation for sales launch
- Customer care and engagement - working with the customer care team to deliver a world class customer experience from sales to post-handover
- Design and product development - assist in the design development of the project, refining product in line with the development brief
- Consultant management - engaging, briefing and managing relevant consultants where / when required
- Joint Venture & internal reporting - assist with the ongoing business and joint venture reporting requirements, preparation of documents and reports
- Construction & delivery - contribute to the preparation, review and management of the D&C contract which may include document collation, benchmarking, review of documentation and cost analysis. Reviewing and analysing construction programme / claims / variations and notices throughout delivery.
- Subdivision, titling & strata - preparation of relevant documents & plans, titling & registration, appointment of strata manager and creation of the Strata scheme

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in development management and/or Construction and Property Development.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property Economics, Engineering, Architecture, Property Development, Planning and/or Construction Management.
- Planning, organising and analytical skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively on tight deadlines.
- Interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Culture is critical to the success of the project and you will need to bring enthusiasm, work ethic and above all, a collaborative approach.
- You’ll demonstrate passion and understanding of the changing urban environment and the important role the public domain and retail have in establishing an extraordinary place outcome.
