The Geelong Football Umpires League (GFUL) is a not-for-profit organisation that administers and operates the umpiring requirements for the Geelong, Bellarine and Surf Coast regions. Founded in 1935, GFUL has grown to become the dominant umpiring group in country Victoria, responsible for providing umpires to the Geelong Football League, Bellarine Football League, Geelong & District Football League, and the Geelong Junior Football League (for both men and women’s sports). Professionally administered with a current membership over 200, it is a role model for other country umpiring groups. Our organisation is not much different to any other sporting club, and as the administrator, you will be made to feel part of our team.
**What you will do**:
The Administration Coordinator role is a flexible and adaptable administrative position that anticipates and delivers timely and accurate support to members, sponsorship partners and the Board. Involved in many aspects of our operation, you will primarily be supporting the administration function to ensure the professional implementation of strategies and day-to-day operations.
The Administration Coordinator is highly organised and ‘one step ahead’ individual with proven time management and stakeholder management skills to successfully support our diverse stakeholders. You are a hands-on person who enjoys completing dynamic and diverse tasks. Accuracy in your work, attention to detail and a willingness to see tasks through to completion, no matter how large or small, is a must. This is an exciting role where no two days will be alike.
**This role is responsible for**:
- Being the primary point of contact for members, the Board and sponsors on training nights and across various channels and platforms.
- Partner with our Board to deliver exceptional member and sponsor experience through proactive support, which includes preparation and implementation of various strategies as directed.
- Be the first point of contact for sponsors; coordinate and implement the sponsorship campaign in conjunction with the Board.
- Assisting with BAS reconciliation, accounts payable and cash handling functions.
- Maintain online platforms as required.
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Proven ability to effectively work in a support role in a team environment.
- Driver’s license.
- A strong desire to be involved in Australian Rules football umpiring.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
