Principal Program Advisor

**As Principal Program Advisor, you will**:
- provide strategic advice to the Executive Director of Investments and Finance Services/CFO and to Directors in Investment and Finance Services Program
- monitor the delivery of organisational projects arising from strategic initiatives and business unit improvement activities.
- be responsible for liaising and negotiating with officers across the Public Trustee to ensure desired outcomes are achieved through timely and coordinated development, implementation and management of projects.
Mandatory requirements
While not mandatory, an undergraduate or higher degree qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Commerce, Governance) would be highly regarded.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to review and define program outcomes including the development and implementation of projects and activities that support the effective delivery of services relevant to the program.
- Monitoring key deliverables and priorities as directed by the Executive Director of Investments and Finance Services/CFO.
- Identifying risks and assess the impact on the delivery of outcomes; including providing solutions that fall within the scope of the program.
- Preparing a range of written materials including ministerial, briefing papers, submissions, and reports, on critical and sensitive matters, often in short timeframes.
- Identifying information from a wide range of sources and provide strategic analysis and advice on program, policy, and legislative issues relating to the programs and initiatives delivered by the program.
- Providing expert advice on process workflow efficiency evaluation and mapping to identify processes for improvement.
- Managing and monitoring day-to-day operations including key deliverables, priorities, program timelines and key milestones to ensure that projects achieve their project plans.
- High-level communication, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills to liaise, consult and maintain positive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
