E&i Project Lead

Our Eastern Region have a requirement for an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Project Lead to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.

**The Role & Responsibilities**:
The role will report to and be supported by General Manager of Services - Eastern Region.

Provide technical support, training, and guidance to field teams in problem solving and overcoming project challenges.
- Assist the Project Manager undertake management and administrative duties to ensure the projects run effectively and efficiently.
- Technically sound knowledge of electrical instrumentation discipline.
- Continue to develop and identify sustainable project opportunities with clients in the region by managing and enhancing current and new client relationships.
- Ensure all RFP/RFQ pricing is accurate and aligned to client’s requirements.
- Manage and lead projects to ensure successful outcomes are achieved, client requirements are met, and their expectations exceeded.
- Ensuring company and client safety compliance about safety and quality.

Build a strong network of local suppliers and subcontractors and develop relationships.
- Project Invoicing and following up on aged receivables.
- Any other task as an assigned by the Project Manager.

**Experience & Knowledge**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proven leadership experience and ability to motivate and support field teams.
- Experience in Electrical Instrumentation Services
- EEHA Hazardous Area Inspections
- LV / ELV Electrical Installations
- Critical Function Testing - Fire and Gas
- Instrument Loop and Function Testing
- Instrumentation Commissioning
- Instrument tubing fitting and repairs (Swagelok)
- Flow, pressure, vibration, temperature, analytical, level and position instrumentation maintenance and checks.
- HART and foundation fieldbus protocol
- Field Calibrations
- Valve Stroking
- High Level Fault Finding
- SCADA/PLC/Distributed Control System
- Process Control Instrumentation & Metering Skids
- Experience in managing work scopes and working closely with clients to build meaningful business relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Execution and solution focused; ability to close out multiple issues by quickly identifying the core issues, identifying a solution, and implementing corrective actions in an effective and timely manner.
- Strong commercial acumen.

**Qualifications**:

- Project Management/Business Management Diploma or equivalent proven experience
- UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent
- UEE31211 Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control
- UEE42622 Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas - Electrical
- BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management or equivalent (desired).
