**Introduction**:

**The Role**:
Technical responsibilities included commissioning, testing and maintaining HV primary plant including power transformers & HV Cables.
Basic secondary system testing and fault finding.
Assist in preparation of commissioning/testing documentation, test plans and create detailed technical reports on completion of works.
Carry out JSAs or CTAs prior to commencing any new works in order to identify hazards and implement the necessary controls.

**The Person**:
Must hold "A Grade" (Fitter and Mechanic) Electrical Workers License.
Diploma in Power Systems or similar would be highly regarded however is not a prerequisite.
Minimum 5 years' HV technical experience.
Experience using Omicron 256/356 secondary injection test equipment using Omicron 256/356 secondary injection test equipment.
High theoretical and practical knowledge with all HV primary plant and basic secondary systems
HV Switching Ticket preferred.
Mining, Oil & Gas experience preferred.
Working knowledge of appropriate Australian and International Standards and Codes of Practice relevant to the HV Industry.
Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Proven ability meeting project quality, schedule and budget requirements.
Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism & communication
