**The role**
- The Head of Performance Reporting plays an important role in aligning APRA’s strategic objectives with measurable outcomes. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between strategy and results. Reporting to the General Manager of Strategy and Governance, the role works closely with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- You will lead a team that provides a comprehensive view of APRA’s business and its performance by creating and distributing reports, dashboards and insights to key internal and external stakeholders. The team also supports business stakeholders to uplift performance measurement and evaluation capabilities and contributes to other activities and projects as appropriate.

**The team**
- The Performance & Reporting team sits within the Strategy and Governance Branch of the Chief of Staff and Enterprise Services Division (ChES). ChES plays a vital role in the effective functioning of the organisation and comprises a range of critical functions, including strategy and governance, corporate affairs, regulatory affairs, finance, project delivery, facilities, and people and culture. These functions are essential to the smooth operation of the organisation and enable APRA to focus on achieving its strategic objectives and fulfill its purpose.

**Key responsibilities**
- Leading the development and implementation of APRA’s internal and external performance reporting framework;
- Establishing key performance indicators and reporting to measure organisational performance, including in public reports;
- Collaborating with key stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment on performance initiatives;
- Communicating performance insights and recommendations effectively to committees and leadership to drive robust decision-making;
- Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact performance outcomes; and
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across the organisation, including through identify opportunities to drive efficiency and reduce duplication.

**About you**
- The ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve high performance, through coaching, mentoring and training;
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at an organisational level;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, suitable for a broad range of stakeholders at all levels of seniority, both internally and externally;
- Strong attention to detail to support evidence-based decision making;
- Deep analytical and problem-solving skills to distil complex information into accessible messages;
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across a range of roles and seniority;
- Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information with sensitivity and maturity; and
- Excellent organisational, self and priority management skills.
- To work with us, you must be an Australian citizen with eligibility to gain a Baseline Security clearance through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency._
