**About the team**
The Funding, Policy and Reform team is responsible for leading the review of the Disaster Assistant Guidelines (DAG) as well as implementation reforms required to address the findings of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) Review, including leading change to strengthen funding administration capability for DAG and DRFA measures within the Reconstruction Authority, rather than the decentralised approach presently.

**About the role**

As the Manager Policy, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of key disaster funding policy initiatives including developing policy positions and supporting guidance for implementation across the wider NSW Government sector. In this role, you’ll shape policy solutions that support the delivery of critical Agency and Government objectives that support the recovery of social built infrastructure across NSW.

**We are looking for a manager with**:

- Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of complex policy initiatives.
- Experience in disaster recovery and/or reconstruction program management.
- The ability to manage multiple policy initiatives and projects within tight timeframes.
- Capacity to make informed, confident decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience in managing resources effectively to support policy initiatives and achieve desired outcomes.
