**About the team**
The Funding, Policy and Reform team is responsible for leading the review of the Disaster Assistant Guidelines (DAG) as well as implementation reforms required to address the findings of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) Review, including leading change to strengthen funding administration capability for DAG and DRFA measures within the Reconstruction Authority, rather than the decentralised approach presently.

**About the role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic **Manager, Funding Systems and Data** to lead the development and delivery of cutting-edge information technology projects that support disaster recovery and reconstruction efforts across NSW.

In this role, you will drive the scoping, design, and implementation of IT systems that enable the effective management and reporting of recovery programs funded through the **DAG**and**DRFA.**

You’ll work closely with key stakeholders, including NSW Government Departments and Councils, ensuring that systems are delivered in compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- A proven track record in leading IT projects within complex environments, ideally within the disaster recovery space.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to scope, design, and deliver systems that meet regulatory and audit requirements.
- Expertise in managing cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders and driving project success.
- A strategic mindset with a focus on ensuring systems are fit for purpose and deliver lasting impact on recovery and reconstruction efforts.
- Substantial experience in managing funding allocations and financial systems.
- Understanding of bi-lateral funding arrangements in general and the DRFA in particular are desirable.
