We are a small boutique firm located on Toorak Road, South Yarra with a proud 50 year history.
We are seeking a full time Receptionist with excellent time management skills and a keen eye for detail to join our team. Reporting to the Managing Partner and Human Resource Manager, the role will cover a variety of administrative and secretarial tasks in addition to reception duties.
The position is up to 12 months, with a possibility for further contract term. Employment to commence immediately.
Duties of the position include but are not limited to:
- managing reception area, phone switchboard and greeting clients;
- general administrative support (scanning, filing, attending to mail, stationery orders, record keeping, etc);
- assisting legal practitioners with administrative tasks as required;
- maintaining diaries;
- assisting staff with legal and general office clerical and secretarial work
- general banking tasks
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role (preferred);
- professional phone manner;
- competent typing skills;
- strong written and verbal communication;
- good customer service skills
- high level attention to detail;
- good time management and ability to multi-task;
- ability to work well as part of a team;
- high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
- experience with LEAP software (preferred)
- experience in the legal industry (preferred);
