**Job summary**

The purpose of this role is to review, assess, process, monitor and close out customer requests for approval to work in the vicinity of our Critical Gas Network. Provide documentation to support BYDA (Before You Dig Australia) plans and assist customers with enquiries.

**Responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Review customer requests to work in the vicinity of our Critical Gas Network and create notifications
- Refer requests that require Engineering Assessment to our Engineering team and monitor the response
- Manage shared Outlook accounts by reviewing and prioritising incoming enquiries.
- Provide additional documentation to support BYDA (Before You Dig Australia) plans
- Monitor completion of customer works and close out work orders
- Accountable for KPI’s
- Despatch work on to Field Device, monitor completion, review and closeout
- Prioritise requests in response to emergency works
- Work collaboratively with other Departments to manage the completion of shared fieldwork
- Material orders
- Create purchase orders and goods receipt invoices for goods and services
- Assist in the analysis of information and production-related reports
- Data entry of timesheets and other field information
- Maintain a list of approved Contractors

**Qualifications & experience**
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Handling a high volume of inbound calls
- Customer Service experience
- Ability to learn and manage multiple IT systems
- Work independently and within a team, taking direction from colleagues
- Ability to multi-task and re-prioritise work under pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Personal standards of reliability, honesty and integrity
- SAP experience preferred but not essential
