The **Rostering Officer **will be responsible for developing and updating rosters for key employees operating Birdon’s vehicular ferries throughout Sydney (mostly on the Hawksbury River), while also performing other administrative duties to support broader operational requirements.

**Key Responsibilities.
- Rostering duties including shift swaps, fatigue management, ad hoc absenteeism coverage
- Payroll and admin duties while adhering to business and industrial agreements
- Contribution to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to ensure rostering best practices are achieved
- Assist with the onboarding of new staffEnsure the compliance of all workers and other organisational governance is upheld

**To succeed in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous rostering experience
- Excellent computer skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong time management abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to build positive relationships
- A collaborative approach and strong teamwork skills
- The capacity to thrive under pressure and meet deadlinesThe ability to work autonomously
