**Are you a payroll guru, bored and looking for some excitement?**

To put our cards on the table from the start, this role is busy No two days are the same, we are implementing a new system ETA end of 2025, there are lots of side quests and projects along with ensuring our incredible workforce that is 1600 strong are paid every fortnight. As the key point of contact for legislative, tax and superannuation knowledge the Payroll Lead supports our business units across multiple awards and enterprise agreements.

**About you**

We are looking for someone with the technical skills, but who thrives under deadlines and juggling enquiries while most importantly remaining calm, supportive of the team, can read the room, be approachable and keep that problem solving mindset

Our team is diverse, knowledgeable, funny, down to earth and hard working so deserve the best leader to coach, guide, go to bat for them when needed and help them be their best. You’ll be flexible and have the ability to adapt to change on the go, and iIn your bag of tricks, you’ll have experience in:

- Payroll (of course), problem solving and the ability to manage multiple projects - you’ll be someone who needs to be busy to be happy and at your best
- Leadership ability, even if you’ve not formally led a team but care about people and love helping them to learn and deliver, you’ll have good coaching skills and the ability to support others achieve positive outcomes
- Amazing organisation skills while being calm on the outside and quickly developing solutions
- Great communication skills at all levels, a pragmatic approach and ability to engage others and form strong relationships
- Strong system and platform experience including Dayforce, Riteq, and Procura, along with an all-important love of excel
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
