The Shaking Hand, a new dive bar in the heart of Canberra, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Venue Manager to join our team. If you're passionate about live music and have experience behind a bar, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar
- Liaise with booking team to effectively execute live music events and promotions
- Manage a team of bartenders and barbacks
- Weekly rostering
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure that all compliance / health and safety regulations are followed
- Weekly reporting to group bar manager
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of bar experience
- Knowledge of bar operations, including drink preparation and inventory management
- A strong passion for live music and dive bars
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong organizational and time management skills
